I understand completely when you said about being in shock and then suddenly it hits you that he is gone forever. Yesterday was 12 years since I lost my mom. It was also her birthday. So I also understand when you said Valentine's Day will never be the same. It's the same with her b-day. (Her death was also unexpected, a blood clot to the lung.) It looks and sounds like your dad was well loved by a LOT of people! And as far as enjoying his own funeral, I'm sure he was there watching. :o)<BR/>Take care & hugs. Do some stitching, it helps.
