We lost our Dad tonight.
Update @ 5:30am 02/11/09-
I just wanted to let you know that my Dad passed away last night. He died of a massive heart attack, shortly after attending a fire training meeting, at an area fire station. My brother, who was with my dad at the meeting, had found him on the bathroom floor at the fire station. He was transported to St Mary's in Green Bay. They tried for an hour to bring him back.
We are down by my family. Of course I cant sleep. We go tomorrow to make funeral arrangements, and I have to say its going to be huge funeral.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I thought he was doing so good. I have been there, although it doesn't seem like it right now, it does get easier in time.

ReplyDeleteKim I am so sorry. I went through this last year. I know it is so hard. I will keep your family in my prayers. I was numb the whole week of the funeral all the arrangements and people. I can tell you it has been a very rough year but I have found in time I was able to focus on the memories of him and not on focusing life without him has helped with the healing. Lean on your family right now. I will be praying for you.
