Cabin in The Woods - WIP 06.07.13
I just finished page 1 on Cabin, and as you can see have alot already stitched on page 2. I have 26 out of the 30 pages completed. Where the stitching ends on the right is the end of page 2. LOTS of confetti stitching going on... and I even found myself frogging as I had not marked off a stitched square on my pattern and it through me off. But its all good now. :)

Cabin In The Woods - WIP 04.27.13
Here is what it looked like the other day when I had to take it off the QSnaps to adjust to the stitching area. I did finish off the corner with stitching.
And here is what it looks like right now, with the rest of the stitches put in, and Im onto a new page.

Cabin Update - 01.08.12
And since I didn't post a before this update, update. You get to see an almost finished page!! Yep, just have about 10 stitches to finish up this page, but with the additional stitching, Im way beyond having a page done.
Two weeks ago - on Christmas, I had the sudden urge to stitch! So, I got out Cabin, and here is my progress up to now... (this stitching round.. I started about half way up on the stitching on the page)

Cabin In The Woods - WIP - 04/15/11
Its been over 4 month since I last posted a progress of Cabin - look where I was here. 12/14/10 post
Well I cant say that I have been slacking off on my stitching cause I have actually have been stitching. And as of this afternoon, I have offically finished up a ROW (meaning 5 pages across the design) - of stitching. Yep, thats right, since Deb 14, I have put in all the stitches. 4 COMPLETE pages of stitching have been finished since the last update. I have pages 16 - 30 finished - and that makes this project HALF done (per pages - not stitching)!! I have put in roughly 67,550+/- stitches, granted pages 26 - 30 where only 5 stitches tall. So since this is half the pages finished, its not accurate with the half the numbers of stitches remaining.
So with that said.. I have roughly 101,550+/- stitches to put in the top part of the design. When finished I would have put in 169,050 (which I already know that total will be more as of all the frogging I have done already..LOL)
So, here are the pictures - pages 16 - 30 complete, and a close up of the door to the cabin. LOVE the detail! (Please excuse the wrinkles.)

Growing a Christmas Tree...
Its slowing growing (and getting stitched), but its starting to take form. This is an update on Cabin in The Woods. That dark blob you see is the truck and base of the Christmas tree. Seems like a lot of darker colors right now. Hopefully I will be stitching more greens.
Cabin has been taking a back seat to getting stitched on... been working on hand stitching a binding on a quilt... so its slowly growing. :)

Spent the weekend at the Cabin
One frustrating thing lately with the Cabin in the Wood design - is that I'm getting actually tired.. where I'm about to fall asleep stitching it. So this weekend was filled with short naps to get my motivation back to stitching on it.
I have a few stitches that are here and there, but are on the next page above... so I still have a few holes.
So, here is what 35,000 stitches in looks like - only 134.050 to go! 26% complete so far!

Cabin in the Woods - WIP
And stitch I did! Well, it got to the point where I was stitching in between commercials today..LOL
The last update I had on Cabin (as its referred too)was on Jan. 22 - pic here.
So...here is an update on Cabin after I spent some more stitching time on it this weekend.

And, here is a closeup of Cabin, see the needle?! That's how far yet till the end of the design. From the furthest out stitch - 47 stitches (the needle is approx.) I was getting nervous to see if I had enough fabric on the right side. And it looks like I will... about 3 inches..LOL CLOSE!

Cabin In The Woods
Well, I last "spent alittle time on the Cabin", the night, before I got the dreaded call that my Dad had died. I just put it away, and just kinda forgot about it.
Well, about a month ago... I picked it up to stitch again on it.
Here is the progress as of Jan 15, 2o1o -- the ruler was a reference to show what the size is.
And here, is the progress of Cabin up till yesterday - Jan. 26th. I kinda have fallen in love with this design. I don't know what it is.. but its all I want to stitch on. LOL I'm in love dang it! Its taking along time for the stitching bug to hit me... and it smacked me a good one!
I had someone leave me a comment (Hi Carol!) that the stitching is the reason she comes to my blog to see the progress. Well, with life changes and thanks to Facebook games... I have pulled away some from them, and put that energy to needle and thread.
This is almost a 3 page finished of the Cabin - mostly greys & peach color threads. The page is folded in half, and I just have alittle more to do in the upper right corner and across the top to finish it off.

Spent alittle time at the Cabin today...
Here is a progress pictures from way back in August. This is the last time I had a updated picture, and its great to compare to.
And here is my progress up till this post. Slowly making progress, in the past 2 days I have put in 1500 stitches alone.
So back in the bag it will go till it starts to scream for me again.
