Couple of Finishes

Yesterday I took advantage of a finishing burst of energy. So I got out a couple of recent finish - well one wasnt so recent. And I finished them off into hanging finishes

The first is "Housework" (never killed anyone, but why take the chance). I had a hard time figuring out what to do around the edges, but Im happy I went with the pins. Really brings it out (I think).

The second one was the "Ask Me About My Grandkids" also from L*K. The little bow that is on the hanger is the same material on the back.

Back to stitching! Just thought I had forgotten to post this yesteray.. and wanted to do it before I erased the pictures off the camera.

Hope all is having a nice Labor Day! Im here, just doing the lazy stitcher routine - sitting in my stitching chair, watching tv, and stitching the day away, while I make holiday pay.

Love all the finishes Kim! I think the pins look perfect on the edges. :o) So, tell me about your grandkids :o)
Cabin in the woods is going to be awesome when it's finished. I idolize you for being able to do one of these designs. I could never do the needle parking thing. I would be so confused. Do you do it like that?
How do you like the Wii? We love ours but don't use it as much as I would like to. We bought a really fun game, Summer Sports Paradise Island. It has Badminton, Volleyball, Mini Golf, Horse Shoes, Lawn Darts, Basketball & Croquet. My favorite is mini golf (FUN!)and lawn darts (there's a trick to that one)
Good luck with your Dad's benefit. I showed the poster to DH and said "Wanna go?" He said when is it? We would love to come up there but I doubt we will make it because DH works Saturdays. He's working the holiday today just to get off for Mt Horeb in Oct.
Hugs, Elaine

My PS3 will work at home just fine. When I connect it to the internet it works but when I connect at college it signs me out of the playstation network and will not allow me to play. It could be because they want me to download something but I can't it is something that you have to download to access the campus network but It does not recognize the PS3. School is boring without it please help!
